Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Now, watch Salman Khan tax-free in Uttar Pradesh

After a meeting with director Kabir Khan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has declared Bajrangi Bhaijaan tax-free in the state.

Uttar Pradesh government today decided to make Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan tax-free. The director of the film, Kabir Khan met Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in this regard earlier on Monday, after which it was decided to make the film tax-free, an official spokesman said.

On the occasion, the chief minister pointed out his government's resolve to encourage filmmaking facilities in the state, for which he said that an attractive film policy has been drafted by the state government. "The film policy has encouraged many producers in the past three years to shoot in the state, and more proposals are being received for it," he said, adding that work was on to set up two film cities in the state.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is about a little Pakistani girl, who loses her way on the Indo-Pak border and finds herself in India. Salman's character finds the girl and takes it upon himself to reunite her with her family in Pakistan. Salman had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif to watch the film before its release.
